Questions people ask before buying
Why is it priced per environment rather than per user?
Because per-user pricing taxes exactly the thing you want — putting the software in front of everybody who would benefit. An environment is also the thing we can identify honestly, so what we sell and what we can enforce are the same thing, which is a better place for both of us to be.
Why is the minimum 3 environments?
Development, test and production. That is what anybody doing serious application lifecycle management needs before they have built anything, and pricing a single environment would be pricing a setup we would then advise you out of.
What does renewal buy?
Updates and support. If a renewal lapses, the version you purchased keeps working — you do not lose the software you bought, you stop receiving the next version of it.
What counts as a user?
Nothing does. Makers, end users, occasional approvers, people who only ever open a report — all unlimited, in every licensed environment.
Can we add environments later?
Yes, at the per-environment price for your plan. A licence names the environments it covers, so adding one is a re-issue.
Do you invoice?
